grown and harvested on a small farm that uses no pesticides or any chemicals on my herbs
Calendula flower (Calendula officinalis, Asteraceae ) is used to prevent muscle spasms, start menstrual periods, and reduce fever. It is also used for treating sore throat and mouth, menstrual cramps, cancer, and stomach and duodenal ulcers.
Calendula is generally safe to use, but there are a few considerations to keep in mind. Avoid calendula if you’re allergic to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae family. Don’t use calendula if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding . Avoid taking calendula orally at least two weeks before any scheduled surgery, since it can cause drowsiness. Don’t take it orally in combination with any type of sedative drug.
